Commercial work is about 20% of our book β small-to-mid offices (5-50 desks), retail relocations along Camelback Road and Old Town Scottsdale, and a handful of light warehouse moves around the Sky Harbor corridor. We do them weekends and after-hours so you can come back Monday to a working office, not a half-moved one.
The biggest difference between residential and commercial: chain of custody and labeling. Every box, monitor, and piece of furniture gets numbered against your floor plan. We work off a master inventory sheet you sign at origin and we sign at destination. If something doesn't show up where it should, we know within 30 minutes which truck and which mover handled it. We've never lost a workstation or a server.
For IT equipment, we coordinate with your IT vendor on disconnect and reconnect timing. We won't unplug servers that haven't been properly shut down, and we transport networking and server gear in a dedicated truck with insulation blankets β same protocol as long-distance loads. If your IT team needs us in a specific order (servers first to set up at new site, then desks), we plan the truck loading sequence around that.
Commercial services we offer
- Office relocations (5-50 workstations typical; larger by quote)
- Single-floor and multi-floor moves within Phoenix office towers
- Retail and restaurant relocations (we coordinate around your lease handover)
- Light warehouse and inventory moves (under 5,000 sqft typical)
- Furniture installation (cubicles, modular workstations)
- Decommissioning: pack-out, e-waste haul, donations to nonprofits if requested
Most commercial jobs are quoted as a flat project price after a walkthrough, not hourly. We carry $2M umbrella for commercial work on top of the standard $1M.
