Quotes and estimates
Quotes given by phone or via the website form are non-binding ballpark estimates based on the information you provide. Binding flat quotes for long-distance moves are issued in writing after an in-home or video walkthrough.
Hourly local moves: the rate quoted is firm. The hours quoted are an estimate — actual time may be more or less depending on factors that come up at the job. We'll always discuss with you before adding time beyond the original estimate.
Booking and deposits
Booking requires a credit card or ACH on file. We do not collect deposits over $100 on any move. The full bill is due on completion of the job, before we leave the destination.
Liability and damages
Standard liability is 60 cents per pound per item — federal minimum, included in every move at no charge. Full Value Protection is available at $9 per $1,000 of declared value, declared at booking.
Damages are documented at delivery on the bill of lading. Claims must be reported within 9 months of delivery (federal long-distance rule) or within 30 days of delivery (Arizona intrastate rule), whichever applies. We aim to settle valid claims within 30 days.
Cancellation
Cancellations more than 48 hours before scheduled pickup: no charge.
Cancellations 24-48 hours before: $100 cancellation fee.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before, or no-show at scheduled pickup: full minimum charge for the booked job (typically 4 hours of labor).
What we won't transport
Federal regulation prohibits us from transporting: hazardous materials (paint, propane, chemicals, ammunition over 10,000 rounds), live animals, perishable food, illegal items, loaded firearms. We also won't transport: cash, jewelry over $500 in declared value, or original irreplaceable documents — these should travel with you personally.
Disputes
For disputes we can't resolve directly, we are members of the Better Business Bureau and we honor BBB arbitration. For interstate disputes, federal arbitration through the Surface Transportation Board is also available.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any legal action must be filed in Maricopa County, Arizona.
