Long-distance is about 25% of our jobs — most going west (LA, San Diego, Vegas), a steady stream north (Denver, Salt Lake), and a growing chunk to Texas and the Southeast as Phoenix folks chase lower cost-of-living. We run our own trucks for routes under 1,500 miles and interline through a major van line network for anything cross-country.
Long-distance is priced flat per job — based on weight (estimated from a video or in-home walkthrough), distance, and any special-handling items. No hourly clock, no surprise fuel charges, no "binding-not-to-exceed" estimate that mysteriously gets exceeded. The number we quote is what you pay barring you adding stuff between estimate and pickup day. We give you the firm number after walkthrough, not a phone-quote based on "about a 2-bedroom."
You get a pickup window (one or two specific days, not a 5-day window) and a delivery window (1-3 days for routes under 1,000 miles, 3-7 days for cross-country). For our own-truck routes, your stuff goes on one truck and stays there until delivery — no consolidation with strangers' loads. For interline routes (cross-country), it does consolidate, which is how we keep the price reasonable, but we coordinate the partner van line and stay on point throughout.
Routes we run direct (no consolidation)
Phoenix to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Tucson, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, Denver, San Francisco, Dallas, Austin, Portland, Seattle. For these we use our own truck and crew, and we give you a single point of contact from booking through delivery.
Cross-country and Northeast
For destinations beyond ~1,500 miles, we partner with a national van line. Your load gets consolidated with one or two other shipments going your direction, which is how we keep the price under $8k for most 2-bedroom cross-country moves. We still handle origin packing/loading and we still own the relationship — but the truck is theirs.
