Phoenix apartments are about 60% of our local job board between March and September. We've worked every major complex from the Roosevelt Row lofts and Hance Park high-rises to the spread-out garden complexes around ASU and the gated luxury communities in North Scottsdale. Each one has a different elevator policy, parking constraint, or COI requirement β we know most of them already.
Studio and 1-bedroom moves usually run two movers, one truck, three to four hours flat hourly. A 2-bedroom typically takes three guys five to six hours. We schedule with built-in time for elevator reservations β most luxury complexes only let one move in or out per day, and they require us to submit a Certificate of Insurance 48-72 hours ahead. We handle the paperwork; you don't have to chase the leasing office.
If you're moving from a 3rd-floor walk-up in the summer, tell us at booking. We'll send a 4-man crew instead of 3 so no one's making 40 trips up the stairs in 110Β°F weather. The cost-per-hour is higher but the total job comes out about the same β and we don't lose a mover to heat exhaustion.
Phoenix apartment buildings we move at regularly
Hance Park district, Roosevelt Row, Camelback Corridor mid-rises, North Tempe ASU complexes, Mill Avenue student housing, Old Town Scottsdale lofts, Camelback East condos, Anthem and Norterra master-planned, North Phoenix garden apartments, Ahwatukee townhomes, and most major Class-A apartments along Loop 101.
COI (Certificate of Insurance)
Almost every Phoenix luxury and high-rise apartment complex requires a COI from your moving company before they'll book the elevator. Ours lists $1M general liability, $1M auto liability, and Workers' Comp under Arizona ICA. We can usually issue a customized COI naming your specific property within 4 business hours.
